This policy explains what EzStaff does — and does not do — with information when you use the app. We have written it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, because you should be able to actually understand it.
1. Information you enter (stays on your device)
To do its job, EzStaff stores the information you type in — including:
- Worker names, roles, phone numbers, and optional worker photos
- Daily attendance records, overtime hours, and paid-leave marks
- Salary rates, advances, payments, bonuses, and deductions
- Your business name, phone number and address (printed on salary slips)
All of it is written to a private database inside the app's own storage area on your device. It is not uploaded anywhere. Aditanix Technologies has no account system, no cloud sync, and no way to access this data. If you uninstall the app or use Settings → Clear all data, it is permanently gone — we cannot recover it for you, which is exactly why the app includes a backup feature.
Worker photos
If you add a photo to a worker, EzStaff copies it into the app's own private folder. It is not uploaded and no facial recognition or analysis of any kind is performed on it.
Information about other people
EzStaff is a tool for employers, so the records you keep are largely about your staff rather than about you. You are responsible for handling your workers' information lawfully and fairly under whatever employment and data-protection rules apply where you operate — including telling them what you record about them if required. We simply provide the storage on your device.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
EzStaff is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. The AdMob SDK — not Aditanix — automatically collects certain technical data to select and measure ads, typically:
- Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier)
- IP address and coarse/approximate location derived from it
- Device model, operating system version, and similar technical attributes
- Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks)
This is handled under Google's own privacy terms, which you can read here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Your business records are never sent to AdMob or any advertiser. Ads have no access to your staff or salary data.
Consent and your choices
Where required by law (including the EEA, UK and certain US states), EzStaff shows Google's official consent form the first time you open the app, letting you accept or decline personalised advertising. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy options. You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID from your device's own Android settings.
3. Permissions we request, and why
| Permission | Why EzStaff needs it |
|---|---|
INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Only to load ads and the consent form. Your records are never transmitted. |
POST_NOTIFICATIONS | Optional. Daily attendance reminder and the weekly backup nudge. Decline it and the app works normally, minus the reminders. |
Advertising ID (AD_ID) | Added automatically by the Google AdMob SDK for ad delivery and measurement. |
EzStaff does not request camera, contacts, microphone, precise GPS location, or broad file-system access. When you pick a worker photo, a backup folder, or a CSV file, Android's own system picker hands us just that one item — we never gain access to the rest of your storage.
4. Files you create and share
You control these entirely:
- Salary slips and statements (PDF) — generated on your device. When you share one via WhatsApp, email or any other app, that app's own privacy policy applies from that point on.
- Backups — a copy of your database saved wherever you choose. If you point auto-backup at a Google Drive folder, the file is stored under your own Google account, governed by Google's terms, not ours.
- CSV exports — a spreadsheet copy of your records, saved or shared wherever you send it.
Once a file leaves EzStaff, keeping it secure is in your hands.
5. Children
EzStaff is a business tool intended for adults who employ staff. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).
6. Data retention and deletion
Because we never receive your data, there is nothing on our side to retain or delete. On your device, your records persist until you delete individual entries, use Settings → Clear all data, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Any of those is immediate and permanent — take a backup first if the data still matters to you.
7. Security
Your data sits in the app's private storage area, which Android isolates from other apps. EzStaff also offers an optional PIN lock with fingerprint/face unlock (Settings → App lock), which we recommend enabling if others may handle your phone, since salary information is sensitive. Please also keep your device itself protected with a screen lock — no app can defend data on an unlocked, shared phone.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
9. Contact
